Interview to Four Students at UBC

At the writing class, we were given an assignment to to interview to at least four students at UBC campus during the class. It was related to writing on social media. I went to SUB (the students union building) and had interviews. I asked two male students and two female students.

One student uses Twitter, but the other three don't use neither on Twitter nor a blog. No one keep a diary. Facebook is popular among young people as we expected. It was interesting to know their reactions to the question about "reflective writing." Their answers were very honest and sincere. One of the female students writes reflectively 2 or 3 times a week using on line school sites. She thinks it improves herself in certain aspects. Another girl likes to write about her in her room. She thinks reflective writing has the advantages because it helps us learn more coherently our thought, ideas and its patterns.

I have realized that academic classes help the students have a lot of good opportunities to think seriously about themselves.
